Going to play cs after I write this one. Not in S tonight. Things went pretty well for today, had chit chat with a friend or to that wasn't in town for the last two weeks. Spent a good bit of time outside home, though not much going on in home that I have to avoid, but oit usually is a pleasure to stay away from home. Memories... Some other time maybe.

Running in the background is the installation for Nokia PC Suite, bought a used Nokia E50. More later.

So the above link brought m,e here, back to blogging.

I have been thinkng about continuing my tempo, increasing rather, of blogging. But things have lately been either busy or not really interesting.
So the last time I blogged, it was the day when the next day was federer vs roddick final - or should I call it the grand finale? - of wimbledon men's title. The match was expected to be one-sided, federer's obviously, but the all things were going so well for roddick that he never flailed with his serve and did't give federer a single break in the whole match - unless you are counting the championship break point...!! Roddick had the particpation in writing history that day, as federer became the single most accomplished genius at the game of tennis by winning 15 grand slam titles, a feat that surpasses Pete Samprass' 14 wins. So lives the legend of federer...

Ok I know that was a tad bit cheesy, but things go along this way with me.

Anywho, next.

Andy Roddick at the Legg Mason tennis tourname...Image via Wikipedia

Andy Murray lost!!! Gosh, I was so hoping for a contest final. Rodick winning, and a Federer vs. Rodick final is so anti-climatic of Wimbledon. Its all because of Nadal being unfit, physically. At least a Federer vs. Muray final at wimbledon would have been a dream final in a sense the the whole British nation's hopes for a british finialist shattered when Murray lost to Roddick last night in a four-setter.

I'd say it was a gr8 match played by both the players, but Murray could have done a lot better, giving away some very easy points at very crucial times in the match. But he's still young, and inexperienced. Compared to Roddick, he is a novice when it comes to experience. But Roddick's game-plan was so well-executed and he capitalized on almost every opportunity Murray gave him... Its sad to see Murray loose to be honest, I was cheering for Murray, too.

Anyhow, it will be another fun final on sunday, Federer vs. Roddick, the couple have met quite some times during the past, three times in the wimbledon final actually. And as one can expect, with the ridiculous consistence of Federer (those are the exact words of Murray about Federer!), Roddick was beaten in all the three encounters by the living legend and has yet to win another Grand Slam title, apart from the lone US-Open title he has from the early 2000's.

Gold and Tennis

am doing my research on Gold prices/rates behavior during the world economic crisis and the investment opportunities that both investors and traders can avail.

So the last time I was here I talked a bit about my tensions. They keep coming and going so I don't give too much crap about 'em. The thing is once you know that there is someone who will always listen to you, no matter how stupid your propositions and thoughts are, and no matter how dumb your ideas are, you can make through it. Not that I am implying that it is impossible to live through the everyday tensions without someone to listen to, will power comes in. But for those who have a lack of it, it helps. Not mentioning anyone in particular though, just some thoughts.

So the other day I had another one of those days when I take the car out in a good mood and something bad enough happens to eff up the mood. I was driving around the round-about and the excise department had its mobile-vans parked there. You'd think they won't stop you to check and do their job, letting you go as just another random guy/car as it happens everytime. But they did stop me, and turns out that my forefathers haven't paid the duty on this car for the last 4 years, that's around Rs. 4,500 !! So all I could do was to leave the car registration with 'em and return back home to get my dad and listen to a long lecture of how he has been taking care of the car and nothing happens under his control of the car and so on and so forth... Not t mention the usual elephants!

So he paid-up and i dropped him back home. Done, back to enjoying the drive, what else could happen, right!? That is rhetorical, and as one can guess, WRONG!

Bottom line, I got fined for driving without a driver's license (my fault, I totally accept, but had it had to happen the day I want to drive!!? gimme a break will ya... Lord! ). Nothing bad happened after that, but didn't have to, it had been enough already.

So I got an angry, gives-no-crap, research supervisor - who couldn't live if it wasn't only for the word crap itself. People knowing him know who I am talking about

.

Also, tennis watching has been fun lately. Not to mention the boredom of Nadal deciding to lay-off the Wimbledon and not defending his title... The world would have loved another dream final between the two.

Will continue...
